Senior Training and Education Manager Course (STEMC)
Course Overview

Overview of how the Generating Force runs in terms of mission and programs. Systems management is studied from the perspective of the senior training and education developer manager. The ADDIE Process is addressed at the managerial level on training programs, products, and process. Topics are taught with a series of case studies and practical exercises.

Other topics covered are the Requirements Determination Process; Planning, Programming Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBE); Training Requirements Analysis System (TRAS); and the Army Training Requirement and Resourcing System (ATRRS).

Pre-requisites

Students must occupy a senior training position and should attend STMC prior to taking a senior training position or as early in their tenure as possible.

Must have 1 year to serve in training position.

Military:
AC/RC Officers: MAJ to COL
AC/RC Warrant Officers: CW4/CW5
AC/RC SGM/CSM

DoD Civilian:
CP 32 individuals who perform more than half their time in education, training, training development and capability development assignments. GS-13 through GS-15
