U.S. & ROK TROOPS TRAIN IN COMBINED DEFENSE EXERCISE
SUWON AIR BASE, Republic of Korea – Nearly 100 service members from Company F, 6th Battalion, 52nd Air Defense Artillery (F/6-52 ADA) Regiment and the Republic of Korea’s (ROK’s) 10th Fighter Wing (FW) came together to practice base defense here, on Nov. 12, 2013. THANKSGIVING 108TH ADA STYLE
Fort Bragg, N.C. – For soldiers and family members of the 108th Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Brigade, Thanksgiving is more than just a day and a turkey dinner. Yes, there is the traditional Thanksgiving meal; however, during the week there is also the Fort Bragg Best Dining Facility Competition and the much anticipated game of flag football known as the “Turkey Bowl.” The commander and command sergeant major of the 108th ADA Brigade, Col. TRANSFER OF AUTHORITY FROM 1-43 ADA TO 3-43 ADA
SOUTHWEST ASIA – Another chapter in the 11th Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Brigade’s history is closed and another has started with the successful transfer of authority (TOA) between two of its sister battalions. ALIAMANU MILITARY RESERVE, HAWAII – There weren't any fancy “Super Bowl” ads, but for the officers, noncommissioned officers (NCOs) and enlisted soldiers of the 94th Army Air and Missile Defense Command (AAMDC), the Turkey Bowl held on 27 November 2013, was the football game of the year.
