The commanding general of the Fires Center of Excellence and Fort Sill invites the public to attend our annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2, at McNair Hall. The ceremony includes a parade and host of popular family activities and events (to include the arrival of a certain jolly old elf).
The annual Toys for Kids Program, presented by Fort Sill Family & MWR and Fort Sill BOSS, will be held at the Fort Sill Conference Center, 6045 Sheridan Road. The collection center will open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, Dec. 15-19, to ensure military members and their families can provide their children gifts during this holiday season. Donations of new toys are accepted at the Conference Center, Jim Glover Chevrolet (sponsor) and the Fort Sill PXtra. All eligible military members requesting assistance must go through their command channels and be referred to Toys for Kids. Submit applications no later than Dec. 12.
