Although the Air Defense Artillery Training Support Facility houses historic weapon systems, it is not a museum and is not routinely open to the public. The focus has changed from public interaction to soldier training. This allows the staff to focus its efforts on training today's air defenders to the standards outlined in the TRADOC regulations. That isn't to say that the public isn't welcome, but any public tours must be scheduled in advance to deconflict with ongoing classes

Military Visits

The Army TSFs and Museums are technical repositories of their branches.

“They provide excellent platforms for teaching and supporting a variety of instruction with the overall intent of acculturating Soldiers to the Army and helping to develop agile, adaptive leaders. The baseline military history and heritage education in TRADOC museums will be managed in the scheduled programs of instruction (POI) and will consist of not less than Army Heritage in BCT, branch heritage in AIT, the combination of both in OSUT, and branch history in BOLC B, WOBC, and ALC. For BCT, AIT, OSUT, BOLC B, WOBC, and ALC, the required visit to the venue must be actual, not virtual. Also, pre-commissioning and pre-appointment ROTC, Federal OCS, and WOCS students will visit an Army museum [or TSF]…depending on which type of [facility] is available.”

Schedule a classroom or ceremony space

All military personnel wishing to utilize our state-of-the-art classrooms or the ceremony space for non- Military History and Heritage Education Program (MHHEP) uses must request them through TMSS. This allows TRADOC the ability to track usage and lifecycle replacement parts/systems. Classrooms and the bay are first-come first-serve but scheduling priority is always given to POI classes

Civilian Visits

We do not allow walk-in tours of the facility. Civilian access is by reservation only. That said, the ADA TSF houses many one-of-a-kind air defense systems from around the world. Our collection is certainly worth seeing. We encourage you to make a reservation and come see what we have to offer. If you are a civilian over the age of 18, you will be required to get a base pass from the Visitor’s Center before attempting to come onto Fort Sill. This can be done in person at the Visitor’s Center at Sheridan Gate or the process can be expedited by visiting (https://pass.aie.army.mil/steps/branch_selection) and filling out your information ahead of time. The online request can take 24-hours to process so please allow time before your visit

Schedule a Field Trip

If you’re an educator in public, private, or home school, you can bring your classes to the TSF for an overview of the evolution of air defense systems and an introduction into the development of rocketry and space flight. We house a V1, V2, Wasserfall, and the only complete Rheintochter R1 in the world.

Please call the facility NCOIC/Scheduling NCO at 580-558-7551.

Schedule a Private Tour

Since the TSF is not routinely open to the public, we usually do not allow walk-in tours. Please book your reservation in advance as priority is given to soldiers in training and the remaining times are first-come- first-serve
