In a traditional museum, the facility is divided up into galleries. In the TSF we have different training areas. We begin with an introduction to the ADA Motto “First To Fire” and then progress from World War One through the evolution of weapons into today’s systems.
Our students learn about the practical applications of past weapon systems and how they were deployed. Many of these lessons learned are still applied to the battlefield today.
The secondary mission of the TSF is to assist with future weapon and doctrine development. Using the lessons learned from past conflicts, we assist other agencies as they develop the future of the Army. Nearly all our historical weapon systems on display are currently in use around the world. From the WWI MG08 to the Patriot, many are still fulfilling their duties in combat.
These training areas include:
- World War One
- Pearl Harbor Defenses
- World War Two
- Missile Defense
- Korean War
- Weapon Development
- Vietnam
- Panama and Desert Storm
- OIF/OEF
- Future Systems
