13F Class 14-23

Class 19/20-23 are beginning their AIT experience with becoming familiar with Bravo Battery and their surroundings and by drawing TA-50 from CIF. This is the basic gear that they will need for the duration of their training.

Class 19/20-23 begin learning the fundamentals of Land Navigation. Land Navigation instills the groundwork of the 13F MOS by allowing the Soldiers the necessary skills of how to read and utilize a military map.

13F Class 19/20-23 is introduced to map overlays and how to effectively place icons and diagrams on a military map. This training will prepare them for the upcoming live fire exercises.

Class 19/20-23 begin to learn the basics of calling for and adjusting fire in preparation for beginning their fire mission simulations at the end of this week.

Class 19/20-23 conducting simulated Calls for Fire in a simulator using their initial introduction into the Polar Call for Fire method

Class 19/20-23 conducts simulated Calls for Fire using the final skills of Polar and begin their introduction into the Grid method of Call for Fire.

Class 19/20-23 conducts technology training on multiple laser range finders used to gather Target location to accurately engage targets and maximize effects. Next week they will begin their Culminating Training Exercise

Class 19/20-23 conduct glass house training while waiting their turn to qualify in the Engagement Skills Trainer
